Gen. Flynn Tells the Truth

Finally, a senior U.S. government official has told the unvarnished truth. The outgoing director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, recently observed that the ideology behind al Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups is “exponentially growing.”

The evidence to support Gen. Flynn’s conclusion is, of course, all around us. President Obama has, however, been fraudulently insisting for years – notably during his reelection campaign – that “core al Qaeda” is “on the path to defeat.”

General Flynn is right. So we need a fundamental course-correction in this War for the Free World. We must train those who protect us to understand the ideology the jihadists call shariah. We must fight it and its adherents using every appropriate technique and recognize that some of them are operating here, including inside the Obama administration.
