President Obama’s appallingly appeasing “reset” with Russia has finally been, well, re-reset.

First, Mr. Obama had to impose sanctions after Russia began dismembering Ukraine.

Then, yesterday, the State Department acknowledged that the Kremlin has violated the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.

Of course, experts in the government, on Capitol Hill and elsewhere have long known that Russia was cheating. But Team Obama refused to make this determination, despite the advantage Moscow obtains by this violation to acquire new means of targeting U.S. allies and forces in Europe and the Far East.

What, if anything, will the President do in response? To date, he has adamantly refused to modernize America’s nuclear deterrent.

Our top commander in Europe, General Phillip Breedlove, has warned that this violation “can’t go unanswered.” But will it?
