Shut Down, Don't Extol, Incubators of Jihad - Center for Security Policy

For years, Charles Jacobs of Americans for Peace and Tolerance has warned about the Islamic Society of Boston.

That mosque was founded by a top Muslim Brotherhood operative and al Qaeda financier, Abdulrahman Alamoudi. Despite ties to him and a dozen other prominent jihadists, this Muslim Brotherhood front has been given preferential treatment by local and state officials and whitewashed by most press organizations. The Islamic Society of Boston has even been called a model partner for “countering violent extremism” by President Obama.

Fox News just revealed, however, that a moderate former clerical leader in the Boston area’s Muslim community, Imam Talal Eid, now confirms: Islamic supremacists at three local mosques – including the ISB – have “exerted a radical influence” on the mosques’ leadership.

We must shut down, not extol, such incubators of jihad.
