Republicans’ deficient leadership in Congress has President Obama poised to foist on all of us a nightmarish nuclear deal with Iran with the votes of only a small, partisan minority in the U.S. Senate.

Worse yet, the President and his Senate allies now are planning a filibuster that will prevent any vote at all on the Obamabomb deal.

Those who aspire to replace Mr. Obama as our Commander-in-Chief – and who will, therefore, be obliged to cope with the dangerous fruits of his so-called “legacy” – should join forces to make two key points:

The U.S. Senate must vote on the Iran deal as a treaty – requiring fully two-thirds of its members to support it. Anything less will only serve further to undermine the legitimacy of the agreement itself, and set the stage for its repudiation by the next president.
