Nuclear Perfect Storm

America is confronting a nuclear perfect storm.

A Pentagon panel reportedly sees serious deficiencies in U.S. intelligence about emerging nuclear threats. Think about that the next time Mr. Obama claims his deal with Iran will curb its bid for the Bomb.

Those deficiencies can only grow as President Obama compromises our intelligence collection policies, practices and capabilities – including giving foreigners privacy rights.  Can our spies still try to ferret out what enemies are doing to inflict electromagnetic pulse and other nuclear threats?

Meanwhile, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel just realized that our own nuclear deterrent is in disarray.  Unfortunately, President Obama’s determination to eliminate the world’s nuclear weapons – starting with ours – has a lot to do with that fact.

This nuclear perfect storm threatens us all.  Will we prepare accordingly?
