Behind the diplomatic niceties surrounding the visit yesterday of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with President Obama is an ugly reality: Mr. Obama was dissembling when he declared that, “The security of Israel is one of my top foreign policy priorities. And that has expressed itself not only in words, but in deeds.”

In fact, the President’s “deeds” have endangered Israeli security, not enhanced it. For example, Mr. Obama and his subordinates have repeatedly insulted Israel’s elected leader and undermined his policies. By so doing and in myriad other ways, they have created the impression that the United States no longer stands with Israel.

Then, there’s Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran – a monstrous threat to Israel’s vital security interests, and for that matter, our own.

Spin and Oval Office photo ops won’t conceal the malign effect of Obama’s hostile deeds against Israel.
