Last week, the world lost the Nobel Prize winning laureate, Elie Wiesel. He spent his life fighting against anti-Semitism and hatred.

While world leaders were recounting the loss of a man who fought against bigotry all of his life, Max Blumenthal (Maxi) took to Twitter to vilify him:

He continued to chide Wiesel’s legacy by posting links to articles citing that Wiesel “denied Armenian genocide” and that he lauded ethnic cleaning of Palestinians.

He also tweeted:

Maxi was joined in his denigration by other pro-Palestinian activists, including Reza Azlan who simply called Weisel a liar.

And Al Jazeera presenter, Mehdi Hasan chimed in to lambasted Weisel’s support for the right for Jews to live in communities within their ancestral homeland.

Maxi has spent his professional career vilifying the State of Israel. If it doesn’t paint Israel as the most vial evil in the world, he’s not interested. His book Goliath is an anti-Israel screed filled with hundreds of pages of him comparing Israel to the Nazis. He compares Israel to to ISIS, proudly creating the twitter hashtag #JSIL, which stands for the ‘Jewish State of Israel in the Levant.’ He regularly calls for the expulsion of Jews from Israel (a.k.a., ethnic cleansing) while at the same time accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing.” He often uses his ethnic background (Jewish) as a crutch to justify his vial belief system and to shield himself from accusations of anti-Semitism. He regularly attacks “white privilege,”and see’s Jewish-Americans as having “superseded the WASP’s” and are “the new ‘whites.'”

However, Maxi is nothing more than a silver-spooned product of nepotism who likes to think he’s ‘down with the struggle.’

The son of longtime Clinton confidante Sidney ‘Sid’ Blumenthal.  Sid is former reporter who had served in the Clinton White House and been a senior adviser during her 2008 campaign. Hillary remained in close contact with Clinton regularly emailing each other throughout her time at the State Department. Maxi’s articles were a regular feature of Hillary Clinton’s inbox, thanks to his proud papa.

The Clinton campaign condemned Maxi’s comments, on the late Elie Wiesel.  However, in the past Hillary has sung the praises of Maxi.  In emails to his father she told Sid, “Your Max is a mitzvah.” She described his article’s as “smart,” “good stuff”, and celebrating “Max strikes again!”

Despite Hillary’s love of Maxi’s work, he ‘resents’ being associated with her.

Considering Maxi’s distaste for Clinton, his extremist views, and his father’s constant promotion of them, it would smart to disassociate herself from them both.
