34 Years after Beirut Attack, We Must Defeat, Not Reward, Sharia-supremacists

Thirty-four years ago this week, Iranian operatives killed 241 Marines in  Beirut, Lebanon.  To massacre our troops, the mullahs detonated the largest non-nuclear explosion in history – and they got away with it.

Retired Navy Admiral James “Ace” Lyons recounts how he prepared a military attack that would have decisively retaliated against the perpetrators, then known as the Amal militia. But his forces never received authorization to launch their air strikes.

From that day to this, Iran’s regime and other Sharia-supremacists the world over have been inspired to believe that they will succeed in killing many more of us with impunity – and ultimately force Americans to submit to their totalitarian Sharia doctrine. If they are to be disabused of this supposedly divinely-directed notion, we better stop accommodating these avowed enemies, and start making them pay for their actual, or incipient, violence against us.
