Iran Threatens Mideast Peace, Not a U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Islamists and their enablers in foreign policy establishments around the world insist that the Palestinian conflict with Israel is of paramount importance to peace in the Middle East. They are denouncing President Trump – and in some cases violently protesting – over his moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

Here’s a reality check:  The U.S. intelligence community reportedly believes Iran has bought and taken delivery of three nuclear weapons and a dirty bomb from North Korea.  If true, it’s the predictable result of allowing the regime in Pyongyang to get away with developing and acquiring such weapons and giving $150 billion to the Iranian mullahs to buy them.

Think that’s not a surpassingly serious problem? Think again.

Mr. Trump was right to recognize the reality of Israel’s capital. But we better focus on the reality of not one, but two nuclear-armed pariah states.
