Keep the Heat on Schumer’s Red State Democrats

It is tempting to assume that the collapse yesterday of Sen. Chuck Schumer’s shutdown aimed at securing an amnesty for more than a million illegal aliens means an end to such extortion. But the Senate Democrats’ leader is coming under such intense criticism from his party’s radical left that he will surely engage in still more hysterical demands.

According to the leftist ideologists at the Center for American Progress, Democrats must have more illegal immigration so as to build a permanent electoral majority.  Consequently, Chuck Schumer will keep doing everything he can to force the legalization of so-called DACA “kids” and their extended families.

Yet, the reason Schumer’s shutdown collapsed is because members of his caucus up for reelection in states Donald Trump carried decided to stand with Americans, not illegal aliens.  They’ll continue doing so if Americans demand nothing less.
