America’s Muslim population remains predominately a product of immigration, and like other American immigrants, American Muslims came to the United States for many different reasons. Some sought economic opportunity, others were fleeing war or persecution. And some came with a desire for conquest.

This last group – the Islamists- is best represented by organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood which in the 1960s sought to establish or seize control of mosques, charitable and community organizations, and other institutions with the goal of dominating the American Muslim community, and preventing assimilation and integration into the wider American society so as to wield them as a force for political power.

The panel includes Dalia al-Aqidi and Dr. Zhudi Jasser, to discuss the tactics and techniques used by Islamists to keep American Muslims separated and unintegrated, and how all Americans can help push back.
