China must pay reparations to us all, Waller tells Arab audiences

The Chinese Communist Party has harmed the entire world with the pandemic and it must pay damages, Senior Analyst for Strategy J Michael Waller tells Arab audiences.

Appearing on Alhurra, the US government’s popular news channel aimed at Arabic-speaking audiences abroad, Waller said that the Trump Administration’s economic squeeze on the Chinese regime is important to make Beijing pay a price for spreading the Wuhan Virus pandemic.

Other countries, he said, should follow and make the Chinese Communists pay. Waller was among the first to call for the US to extract reparations from the Chinese regime and its affiliated companies.

In the June 19 segment, Waller told Alhurra that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was correct to challenge Europe in effect to decide between China and the United States in the escalating trade war.

The Chinese regime is posing a clear and present danger to the United States and its interests in the Pacific and worldwide, Waller said. That will have an effect on the US ability to defend its European NATO allies. Europe’s strongest economic powers are NATO members, so Europe is going to have to come around to the US position on China trade, Waller said in English translated into Arabic.

Arab countries, too, should be wary of the Chinese regime and its long-term intentions, rather than complicate their relations with the United States.
