To start unifying the country, repudiate the anti-Trump “lists”

It’s not exactly surprising that hard leftists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a number of her fellow travelers have announced that they are creating lists of Trump supporters, in and out of government. After all, that’s what totalitarians do to punish, if not actually destroy, their enemies – and intimidate everyone else into conformity with the party line.

What is somewhat astonishing, however, is that they would make public this threatening behavior before they have actually, fully secured power. It speaks volumes about the kind of government and country they aspire to inflict upon us all once they’re finished with the “fundamental transformation” of America.

It’s also troubling that the man who claims to be our next president and promises to unify the country has not publicly and vociferously repudiated such clearly, dangerously divisive conduct. Joe Biden must do so at once.

This is Frank Gaffney.
