WASHINGTON – The Center for Security Policy today announced Jamal Ware has joined the organization as Senior Director for Congressional and Public Affairs and as a policy analyst.
“Jamal is a seasoned Capitol Hill veteran and well-regarded policy advisor and communicator,” said Fred Fleitz, President and CEO of the Center for Security Policy. “We are pleased he has joined the Center to help lead our national security policy outreach in the public arena and halls of Congress.”
Jamal comes to the Center with decades of national security experience from the executive and legislative branches of government. He most recently served as the first-ever national security advisor for the Export-Import Bank of the United States where he directed the agency’s engagement with the National Security Council and helped coordinate its international affairs policy efforts with other federal agencies. For his service at EXIM, Jamal received the EXIM Meritorious Service Award.
Prior to EXIM, he served on the staffs of the House and Senate Intelligence Committee, the House Homeland Security Committee, the Select Committee on Benghazi, and as a consultant for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
“I am pleased to be able to continue advocating for sound national security policies and U.S. leadership,” Ware said. “I look forward to working with the strong team of policy experts Fred is assembling.”
