Assault on free speech: ‘if you can’t analyze it, you can’t understand it. And if you can’t understand it, you can’t win’

The assault on free speech is deep rooted and threatens national security, two Center for Security Policy experts said in a June 23 webinar. Dave Reaboi, a Center Senior Fellow, and Kyle Shideler, the Center’s Director for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, discussed how the confluence of Big Tech, government, and threats of violence have created a dangerous threat to American’s First Amendment rights.

Stand With Tucker

Tucker Carlson uses his considerable media platform to dissect the radical agenda of Black Lives Matter and other leftist groups, and to expose the complicity of many of our elected leaders. His good work has made him a target of a campaign by Media Matters and others to remove him from Fox News. We must stand with Tucker.

Okay, so you’ve abolished the police

The Black Lives Matters organization, reinforced by their Antifa allies, has now declared that the abolition of the police is chief among their demands. This has led to a round of questions—and some mockery. But shortly after the demand was issued, the City Council of Minneapolis began efforts to sever its relationship with the Minneapolis Police Department, promising a brand-new model for public safety.

BLM/Jihad Crossover Attacks

A wave of attacks against police have followed riots and civil unrest across the country. Multiple police officers have been shot and several struck by vehicles while on duty. In New York City, three police officers were attacked by a man yelling “Allahu Akbar,” which means God is greatest in Arabic and is frequently used as a battle cry by jihadists. The perpetrator captured at the scene was Dzenan Camovic, a Muslim immigrant from the Balkans.

Shining sunlight on a massive cybersecurity cover-up

On May 12, the Senate Energy Committee Chairwoman, the Honorable Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and her committee colleague, the Honorable James Risch (R-Idaho), filed the “Energy Infrastructure Protection Act of 2020,” (S. 3688) claiming that it “takes important steps to ensure that information critical to utility operations is not unintentionally exposed, as that could surrender America’s energy security to foreign adversaries.”

The real history of Antifa

With riots and civil unrest metastasizing across the United States, the president declared he intends to designate Antifa as a terrorist group. Predictably, the talking heads rushed out to declare that Antifa doesn’t really exist, and even if it did the president couldn’t possibly target it using that legal designation. They argue Antifa is an amorphous blob of discontents, not a functioning organization, and certainly not one which could be designated and targeted for concentrated counterterrorism enforcement.
